ABOUT US
Leeds Student Radio is the only radio station in Leeds run by students, for students. We broadcast live from Leeds University Union every day during term time from 9am 'til late and students from ANY Leeds University are welcome be on a show! Whatever you’re interested in, there’s a space here for you: presenting, producing, DJing, design, tech, event management, marketing. The list goes on. And the best part is, no previous experience is required! We’ll help you find your place and provide you with the help and resources you need to kickstart your career or just have some fun. Our schedule ranges from arts, comedy and music to sport, film and politics so no matter what you’re interested in, we’ll help you get it on-air (we even have shows about Taylor Swift and Eurovision... so anything goes!)

Our committee of 19 student volunteers work very hard to keep LSR working to such a high standard. You can learn more about each of them below.
STATION MANAGER
Kiera is in charge of our station, and works full time for LSR. (9-5, Mon-Fri)
HEAD OF MARKETING
Alex acts as LSR's treasurer, contact her regarding sponsorhips and fundraising
DEPUTY STATION MANAGER
Millie is Kiera's 'right hand man'. She organises our socials and hosts 'Wellbeing Wednesday' in the LSR studios every week as welfare officer.
PROGRAMME CONTROLLER
Sophie is in charge of our schedule, organising it each semester and coming up with unique ideas for outside broadcasting

Ria and Jenna manage our news team. This includes 'News of The Week'(Fridays 1-2pm) , our bulletin team (2x newsreaders per day) and 'The Latest', LSR's news based podcast.
