Mo AyoubDeputy Station Manager
HI EVERYONE. Forgive the caps, I’ve just had a coffee (something you’ll get used to seeing in the office). My name’s Mo and I’m the Deputy Station Manager here at LSR. Although that’s a mighty terrifying title, I am here as the second-in-command in steering this great ship called Leeds Student Radio. I’m your first port of call should Helena be away, in addition to organising all things DJ such as training and sessions, I also sort out the socials for our beloved station. Don’t worry though, it won’t be “organised fun” like that endless game of scrabble you have with your nan on Boxing Day. If you need anything at all, then feel free to email me, tweet me or whatever, or pop into the office and look for the bearded cap with the cheery face. PEACE.
Sam OliverProgramme Controller
Hi, I'm Sam and I'm the Programme Controller this year. Sounds complicated, but basically I'm just responsible for deciding how are schedule looks each semester and then training all our lovely members how to put together amazing radio shows. Luckily I also have the help of the daytime, night-time and weekend producers and together we make up the programming team. If you have any questions about how to apply for your own show or you would like some feedback on your current show then do feel free to send me an email or a tweet.

Okay guys so LSR Marketing 2015 I'm thinking big screen in Times Square, West End 'Rise-of' musical theatre production, helicopter banners across mainland Europe, personalised local currency and most likely sponsoring the 2018 Winter Olympics. My job is to get everyone (EVERYONE) listening to LSR and to work with local sponsors to make sure we have the resources to keep doing what we do. BUSINESS. If you'd like to be involved, or if you know where to get helicopter banners printed, drop me an email and we'll have a natter.

Anna PalmerHead of News
I’m Anna Palmer, one of your Heads of News. This year, with the other head, I’m going to be in charge of organising the daily news bulletins and our two weekly news shows. At the same time, we’re looking to seriously expand the news output and we’re looking for people to make content and be a part of our team. As well as our on air content, this means traditional written articles (serious and funny ones), videos, prerecords and much, much more. It doesn’t matter what level of experience you have, we’re just looking for people who are keen and ready to give things a go. The great thing about News is that you can commit as much or as little as you want - it’s entirely up to you. We just want to make sure you enjoy LSR as much as we have.

Louisa FoxHead of The Beat
WELL HEY – I’m Louisa, Head of the Beat, and I’m super keen when it comes to radio stuff. Come and chat to me about anything to do with LSR, The Beat or even something really deep and unexpectedly existential if you’re in that kind of mood. Anything goes. Except politics because I won’t understand. The Beat is basically our equivalent of a Hometime show (or Drivetime, as they call it in the radio biz) that runs Monday-Friday with a different theme for each day.
James GreggBreakfast Producer
Greetings! I'm James, and I'm the Head of the Breakfast Show at Leeds Student Radio (disclaimer: this does not mean I am a morning person). Well, I got into LSR by accident really, I began on some of our Core Sports shows as a 'panellist', before turning my hand to doing the odd entertainment show and then landed the presenting gig on Monday Breakfast last year, and frankly, had a blast. Growing up and going into school listening to Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2, and Chris Moyles on Radio 1 definitely inspired me to try to make Breakfast Shows here at LSR as good as they can be. The best thing about LSR is definitely being surrounded by fun, driven and like-minded people, allowing you to be as creative as you want! I've learnt so much in my 3 years here, and whether you want to just make LSR a hobby, or be a full-on radio legend, I'm always willing to talk to people about ideas, or answer questions. Hope to see you around!
